So I was all set to watch the second moto live from Thunder Valley when the excitement grew even more with the announcement that Mike Alessi would race. Could he some how race and get himself back atop the points to beat Mr. I cant win a championship if they good guys aren’t hurt Reed. Well my excitement lasted for about 30 seconds until they showed highlights from moto 1 when Josh Grant crossed lines with Mike and Mike hit the deck and grabbed for his knee. BUMMER!!!! It will be interesting to see what happens now with Alessi, If I was Roger Decoster I would seriously consider telling him to hang up the boots for the summer before further damage is done to that knee. Anyway here I am rambling on and forgot to mention that finally Ivan “hot sauce” Tedesco showed up and opened a huge can on everybody. He looked good. Focused and in great shape, It will be great to see Ivan back up front where he belongs. A few sleepers this weekend for sure were Chad Reed and Josh Grant. Neither one of them ever really seemed to find their stride. Both hung in and did what they needed to do to be able to stay close in the points. We’ve got a lot of racing left to do this season , it will be interesting to see who is able to stay focused, healthy and consistent enough to win this title. Will Alessi be able to come back and dominate? Will Tedesco go on a winning streak and close the gap on Reed? Or will Reed win yet another championship due to his consistency?

VholdR are the makers of this sweet looking camera. It claims to shoot HD video, which in a way it does. It does not shoot full 1920×1080 video but it does shoot at 1280×720 which is pretty remarkable for a camera of its size and weight. It shoots directly to a quicktime .mov file which makes loading it in to Final Cut Pro or any other editing software a breeze. It shoots directly to a micro sd card, so if you load in a 16GB card you can shoot up to 8 hours of HD video. The camera itself comes with a 2GB card which will give you 1 hour of HD recording. With SD recording you can double your time from HD so 1 hour = 2 hours and 8 hours = 16 hours and so on. Im still waiting to test the camera itself. The company makes the cameras in batches and batch five is due out in july so we will have to wait until then to do a real world test, but everything I’ve seen so far looks good. You can find the camera for about $279 online

So the peeps at answer really stepped up the game with this new video of James Stewart at his compound in Florida. The 2010 gear looks to be much improved as far as design goes. Having James on the team has surely influenced the design team to start making better products
